I had this a really long time ago. I can't recall what type of sound it offers, I'm still not exactly sure after looking it up. Please see attached pics in the link for information.

What sound options, main and otherwise, will it give me?

Will this resolve issues with games crashing due to using soundblaster for both music and sfx but otherwise not crashing when one option isn't soundblaster? I dug this out for this purpose. A number of games were doing this, all worked and never crashed/froze when I changed sound effects to pc speaker. Just wondering if this will help provider a richer sound effects option that will make my games fully work?

How exactly should it be plugged in while keeping a sb16 hooked up? I've provided photos the long wire goes into the cd drive supposedly, I recall the other going into another card, not sure which one and if its necessary to due this. Haven't been familiar with such stuff for quite some time, so just double checking.

Any suggested drivers?

Any kind of help would be appreciated.

your card is an "AudioWave Platinum 16" , driver can be downloaded here: http://vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=867
no idea if it's good or not but it will most likely do SB/SBpro and it has a genuine OPL3 so it should be fine

Thank you for the file.

I already have sb and want to keep it there, I want to use a different option for sound effects with games that are crashing when I select soundblaster for both music and sound effects. Do you know what it can run for sound effects with this card, other than pc speaker and SB16, so it doesn't crash in general and for the example in the link below. Here are both the music options and sound fx for the game doom. Which options can this card handle you think?

Also, how do you think it should be installed in relation to where the wires go,? i've taken a pictures of in the previous post... I'm keeping SB16 installed while I do this.
