Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on a DOS/95 build based around a 486 overdrive and using a combination of components I've been given over the years.

For the sound card, I've used an ESS Audio Drive 1868f . Which is great because it will enable me to get a second IDE channel to use on my CD-Drive, so I can have two hard disks on my primary channel.

The only issue is, I cannot get the IDE channel on the 1868f to work. I've followed the instructions on Phil's Computer Lab for this card (see below), using the same drivers and boot menu, but when I run the installer I don't get the option to set up the IDE channel - it just gives me the option to disable it.

Here are a few photos of my exact card - hopefully some of you might be able to help me or spot something I've missed!

Thanks in advance, hopefully, this is in the right section etc. (I'm new here!)

Jon
