I just received my Yamaha AW4416 . It is bigger than I thought and includes a MY8-AD24 expansion card with gives it a total of 16 analogues inputs !

Out of curiosity, I looked at what it would take to have that many or more inputs on modern gear and I stumbled on the Behringer X2442USB https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=P0A0M and was a bit puzzled . I see a total of 16 analogue inputs and what looks like a stereo pair coming from the USB interface and/or a front mounted unbalanced line-in . That adds up to 18 or 20 inputs, AFAICT . How does Behringer manage to call this a 24-input mixer ?

EDIT : This review calls it a 16-input mixer https://livemusiciancentral.com/6214/behringe … b-mixer-review/ , 🤣 .
