Hello, would someone please post a link or upload to archive.org or (better) vogons library the install CD for Philips Rhythmic Edge PSC703 ?
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/a-soundb … ter,368-15.html
I am looking for the DOS drivers and the Yamaha SoftSynthesizer S-YXG50 as the links posted by swaaye (in 2009) are dead.
Philips Rhythmic Edge PSC703 - Is it supposed to sound THIS bad?
Thanks in advance.

Win 3.1 : HP Omnibook 425 + Toshiba T2130CT
Win 9x : Dell Latitude Cpx H500GT + Dell GX1
Win XP64 : Asus P5B Xeon

DOS drivers might be found or installed with the win95 drivers package.

https://www.philips.de/c-p/PSC703_00/-

Yamaha SYXG can be found separately and sometimes it is provided with games (Final Fantasy VII / VIII for PC as an example if I remember right)

Big thank you !
The DOS driver is also on this page ... Found working XG drivers elsewhere (legacy edition). If someone has the install CD, I am still interested.

This morning I found my CD and ISOed it using

mkisofs -R -J -o c:/tmp/rhythmic.iso .

which makes a 243 MB iso. I then RARed it yielding, to my surprise, a file of only 147 MB.

Now I need to know where to upload it to. It can (eventually) end up on vogonsdriver as far as I'm concerned.

Hi! May be you can upload this ISO to Google Drive? I have two of these cards, but i can't use them neither in Win9x, nor in DOS. Thanks.

Love to see those cards but they have Thunderbird 128 chips, not Thunderbird Avenger. The ISO won't help. The concerning pages at philips.nl died not long ago but the links to drivers are still good. Try these for your cards:
VXD
https://www.download.p4c.philips.com/files/p/ … _00_d98_eng.exe
WDM
https://www.download.p4c.philips.com/files/p/ … _00_d9s_eng.exe

Change the 3s to 5s in the links to get the Seismic equivalents.
