There were no official support for Sound BlasterX G6 on windows XP but it just worked.
I just found that once I upgraded to the 1 Feb 21 firmware the sound card no longer works for XP.
I reverted it to the last version(20 May 20) and it works just fine 😀

Not sure if there is anyone using such a new USB sound card for XP. Happy to share my finding though.

Tried it today, works. But no hardware acceleration, also no eax. Was worth a shot.

Have an overbuilt 4l tiny pc, no additional slots for a soundcard, so maybe, I thought, maybe.... But no. Sound works fine though.
