Hi everyone. I have Pro Audio 16... With mvsound.sys I can get Sound Blaster emulation (not PRO) which is kinda fine...whatever, but also more painful I can't get MPU401 working... PRO AUDIO claims itself at 388 port!!! even for MIDI, FM works too in WIN and in DOS... Can't use 330 port in DOS, although parameters of drivers saying it's ON. Looks it is not supported.
Can I get MPU401 working? or early revisions might not have MPU401 compatibility at all?
Configuration is Compaq LTE Elite 75 in Dock station. Specifically I chose PAS16 for getting PC Speaker signal without cable. But that MPU401 situation upsets me. Computer is part of KVM connected to Roland MT32 and SC55.

I'd try a different version of the drivers - have a look on VogonDrivers and try what's there. The driver version can make a big difference with these cards.

But sadly even if you do get it working it's not a good MPU401 implementation, there will be hanging notes. And yes they're only Sound Blaster compatible so you only get stereo if the game supports the PAS16 part of the card.

Well, I always have a choice to disable mpu and do soft mpu thru serial, in this case it will be only SC not MT32 🙁
