Got a Intel D865GLC mobo and having a heckuva time getting the integrated sound working. Installed the drivers straight off the cd
and it alerts me to install the win98se audio updates also on the cd which I did. But upon rebooting it's still searching for drivers
and I'm getting an error "no adi codec driver is installed".

Have integrated sound activated in the bios by the way. There are some drivers listed on IBM and Lenovo sites but I'm hesitant to use
them. Anyone have experience solving this? I may just TRY to find a cheap (hah!) PCI soundblaster and be done with it. Thoughts?

For the record, I ended up buying a 1st generation Audigy off Ebay. No sense going down this "rabbit" hole
just for integrated sound.
