I bought CT4500. No chorus or reverb can be added to it's FM... Is it only Gold option?

It should work on any AWE64 card, including your CT4500. You do need to activate it manually in pure DOS, since it's not enabled by default. To do that, run AWEUTIL.COM with these parameters:

1AWEUTIL.COM /R:30 /C:30

The R and C values represent Reverb and Chorus respectively, and you can set them to your liking. I used a value of 30 in the example above, but you can go up to 100. Phil showcases the use of Reverb/Chorus on FM synth music in this video around the 7:47 mark.

Ah! Got it. But I actually need it in Windows. since I'm working with Midi. So it is not for DOS Games, though thank you and I will try for games for fun!

If you mean the MIDI music played by the AWE card using the on-board ROM samples and/or any loaded soundfonts, that should be doable as well. Download this driver CD and use it to install the Windows drivers. Afterwards, run the AWE Control Panel and select the Reverb/Chorus settings that you like:

Note that this only applies to the music played by the AWE card. I don't think that you can use these settings to affect external MIDI devices connected via the game port, such as a Roland Sound Canvas.

I know about AWE/LIVE/Audigy control over that panel. No no, I'm talking about FM part with reverb/chorus activated. The only card I heard on youtube is Terractec Maestro, quality of FM synth there is meh, but again that was in MS-DOS and I'm not sure if it's just reverb/chorus applied for all tracks mixed or individually like any other good wavetable synth can. I have TC Electronic hardware multi-effect processor, but it is filtering audio out signal, not each track individually...

No problems to apply to Yamaha or Roland external devices. It works

I've been wondering this myself, that is, how to get reverb and chorus applied to FM in Windows 95/98 with an AWE 64 CT4520, but as yet, I haven't had any luck.
