A handful of older Sierra games from the late 80's support a pair of Casio keyboards (MT 540 and CT 460).

I've often wondered why Sierra chose to support keyboards like those. Did anyone actually use keyboards for music in those games?

Are there other instances of developers specifically supporting specific keyboards back then (e.g. not just GM devices)?
