We have a bunch of diy/replica sound card projects but what about pci?
I guess maybe with audigy 2zs cards being abundant and working well for most stuff that there isn’t a need?
Can we do better?

I wonder if it would be possible to make a cheap pci adlib clone to use it along another pci sound card such as the audio pci or even integrated AC97 audio. Either using a yamaha OPL2 or a clone chip.
Pierre32 listed my main "requests" a card with front panel connectors that covers both EAX 5 and A3D 2.0 support. XG Midi is also good idea I didn't think about. That covers all of Windows gaming.
Add dos support and such a card could be used for just about any gaming era I can think of.
