I am looking for YMF278B or YM268 .. Either one will be fine. I already have a PCB and I would like to get one for it, even if I have to salvage it from previous board. does anyone have any tip?
Good luck. OPL4 chips have become incredibly rare these days. Your best bet would be to try various MSX communities, as it's the largest group of OPL4 users by far.

I found some but the price is a little bit high since they were part of sound cards. I am willing to pay 20 - 35$ for that card if available but not more than that. I will just get the YMF278 out of it and the rest of the sound card can be either donated or resold 😅

35 dollars for legit OPL4? That would have been a steal 10 years ago... Today? Impossible.

Keep looking for a Mozart sound card or OPL4 as the keyword.. No one's gonna be too sad if one of those driver-less and mostly useless Mozart OPL4 cards gets sacrificed for an electronics project 😀
