I'm using 86Box to test drive some old software which is emulating a AWE32 and AWE 64 Gold in Windows 95 and WIndows 98 SE respectively. I'm having a strange issue with the latest Creative WIN9x driver for these cards that deflates from the SBW9XUP.EXE package. Whenever I run the included UPDRV95.EXE it updates the drivers just fine, but after reboot instrument channel 128 goes totally silent which means I get no drums when playing MIDIs using the "MIDI for Creative Advanced Wave Effects Synthesis for AWE x" synth for MIDI playback. All included SBK banks (GM, GS, MT32) have this same issue. However this problem doesn't occur when using the SB16 synth, the OPL3 drums play just fine. This also doesn't occur in DOS, only in Windows.

If anyone could help with issue or confirm this behavior on a real W9x machine before I escalate this as a bug for the 86Box developers, that would be great.
