Hi, first post 😀)

I have 486 machine, and cannot make my sound card work in Win95. Somehow card's configuration gets corrupted on every boot.

I can replicate with these steps:
1. Delete card in Device Manager
2. Refresh - it finds the card and sound is working. Win95 configures it as /I:5 /D:1 /E:3 /A:220 /B:330 (ESSCGF.exe notation)
3. Sound works
4. Refoot (soft or hard)
5. Device Manager now shows yellow triangle (Code 24, device not found). Resource assignments not changed.
6. Run ESSCFG.exe - Show Config: card is now configured as /I:5 /D:1 /E:0 /A:220 /B:300 (note E and B are different now)

What can cause card's config change on reboot, please? My BIOS is non-PnP. Does it matter?
