I have this card for a a long time, and i think its time to give a go to this card, and try out to see if its worth anything

Has the ESS Maestro 1 sound chip - I bealive its like a pci64..
Anyone has a opinion on this card ?

It looks like very basic realization of Maesro-1 soundcards. So no RAM chips for loadable wavetable and hardware assist for DIRECTSOUND acceleration.
But! Its a nice card anyway especially if it boxed!

Yes... its a model without the ram chips for wavetable.
I've try it last night, run a few games and the sound was not great.. clicking sounds... no detetion in some dos games...
Exchange it for a ESS ensoniq 1373 - pci64/128..
great compatibility with every game.. every dos game worked without the need to config...great..but the sound... horrible...
back to awe64.
