I recently got a Digital Bracket for my Sound Blaster AWE32, so I could record MIDI from my AWE32 in high quality. It does not disappoint, and I'm very happy with the results! However, there's a minor thing I was wondering about, and if anyone would be able to provide me with some suggestions. For reference, I am using a CT3980 card.

While in a game like Captain Claw, the output is nice and loud, when I play back a MIDI files from within something like Vanbasco's Karaoke Player, the volume isn't that high, being a bit below -6 decibels. (attached is an image, showing that) This seems to indicate a software issue, so I have to wonder, is there any software I can use to make the volume louder, when just playing back a MIDI file? The MIDI Volume in the Volume Mixer does nothing, since that controls the volume of the MIDI from the Line Out, not the Digital Out. I'm guessing I'd probably need an alternative MIDI player, but which would be the best? (Also, just incase, the volume is at the max of 128, within Vanbasco)

you understand -6 is really loud right and your just below peaking? how high do you want it? and how much higher than -6 do you think non-midi is if you think midi is really low volume at -6?
