I just thought of something..

The wavetable header has Lef, Right and Audio Ground pins. What level is this audio input from the wavetable card? Can it be used to route any other input from internal Line Out sources such as a a GUS, a secondary sound card with a different FM implementation etc?

Interesting. I guess Dreamblaster should know this.

edit: from the sam2655 datasheet

One single-ended stereo line or headphone out

Seems like the dac has a max output voltage of 2.85V ( 0.85 * VA33 )

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

There is no particular standard for the levels, but most chips can take around 3Vpp before they clip, some like Yamaha YMF71x take about 4.8Vpp max before clipping.

Your main issue will be that this input is often shared with some other signal source, most commonly with FM but that may not be a problem for every use case. CD input is usually dedicated and better to be used as a line-in but you can definitely use the WB header as such too.
