I bought a AWE64 (CT4520 model) on ebay not too long ago,
for anything PCM related, the card works normally.
But if a midi/AWE driver is loaded, all I get is a loud white noise through the midi channel, that can be muted by just muting the midi channel in the mixer.
Issue is not software related as I can reproduce this under DOS and Windows 9x across multiple machines.

at first look, I don't notice anything funky with this card, but I also don't want to throw it in the garbage, maybe there is a chance to save this card?
