Hi,

I have built two original hardware systems

1. A Pentium 133 with a creative labs AWE64 running windows 95

2. A pentium 2 233 , with a creative labs Sound Blaster 32 running Windows 98

both cards are jumpered to send midi to an external device , in this case a Sound Canvas 2
I've trying to run either Monkey Island (enhanced talkie) or Fate of Atlantis ,
Both of these on both systems exhibit the same issues when running either in DOS mode or from with in windows
which is the Midi Music starts but as soon as the digital kicks in the game crashes or simply pauses hanging on a midi note

I have tried changing IRQ , Addresses , reinstalling til i'm blue in the face but it will not work , midi does work if set to be done by the card itself.

Just seems odd i get same issue on two completely different setups ?

Any help would be much appreciated

Both systems are way too fast for those games. You need to slow them down.
