Hello everyone,

I successfully managed to install some old soundcards on my retro PC, and make them work on Windows 98SE just for MIDI playback and occasional work with sequencers.

One of those is a Yamaha YMF724F-V. While I can play midi files using the XG synth (I downloaded the drivers from Vogons), I was expecting to have the chance to play midi files using FM synthesis as well, but apparently there's nothing else to choose from in the Multimedia control panel.

Any ideas? Should I look for different drivers?

P.S.: I don't need this feature for DOS at the moment, I'm using this card for MIDI on Windows.
