Yamaha MU series is not even as good as SC, the sound designers of TG and MU are probably not the same.
I just bought a TG300, it will arrive in a few days

Problem: It may sound better in selected cases, but how does it do with tracks composed with the SC-55/88 in mind? Such as Doom, Descent, Duke3D...

Thing is, one cannot say one synth is superior to another judging from just a few selective tracks.

I might extend that to say it's difficult to call one synth superior period. Bit like saying the wrench is better than the screwdriver. That being said, I did some research on the tg300 and am intrigued.
