I was checking my graphics card temps in MSI Afterburner just recently, then started wondering why of all frequencies it clocks down to these specific numbers:

After suddenly realizing I've seen similar clock speeds on the Voodoo1 in a comparison video, research yielded these results:

Could this actually be a reference (hence NVidia owns the remenants of 3dfx) or is it just an otherworldly coincidence?
