I'm currently doing a bit of graphics programming using mode-x resolution 360 x 270. I'm developing in DosBox and all seem to be well until I ran my app on real hardware that I noticed that mode-x 360 x 270 isn't correctly displayed. On an LCD display it seems to be able to display the 360 width correctly but the 270 height seems to be an issue in that about 30 scanlines drop off the screen. I've tried adjusting the monitors but nothing seems to work. Unfortunately, have no CRT's to test on.

The standard 320x200 and 320x240 modes seem to work correctly.

Are there any known issues with tweaked mode-x resolutions on LCD displays? I can't really seem to find anything on the subject.

PS: I have tried two difference sources on initialising the mode-x resolutions, [1] & [2], both have the same result so I don't think there is a problem setting the resolution itself.

PS2: Maybe good to know. I have tried on the following video cards:

- Tseng Labs ET6000 PCI
- ATI VGA Wonder 16 ISA
- Western Digital VGA 16 ISA

and the following LCD monitors:

- Dell P170S
- BenQ Fp71G+
