Hello Vogons. I'm new here.

So I bought a plain jane clone at a computer show over the weekend. Absolutely nothing about it is unusual, except for the black power unit. So I have to ask ... is it real? Can't imagine why it wouldn't be.

Yes, the original ones were black

I know that. I was wondering if someone could help me verify it's provenance. It's not unbelievable but odd that an (early) IBM unit would find it's home inside a (absolutely) no name vanilla clone.. which is in exceptionally good shape, but doesn't work iinm.
