Took a break from the K6 and did this.
3DMark Project:
3DMark Build Version: 200

Windows 98se. Forced to Use double Buffering Tests failed to
render everything and complete with Triplebuffering.
Kept Running out of vram despite being AGP and supposedly
being able to acess system memory 🤣.

Test done in 32-bit color 24-bit Z-buffer to show the difference of one of the first popular 32-bit color 3d accelerators.
Barely any difference between 32 and 16 bit color on this system, as the CPU is definitely the bottleneck for this first gen Riva TNT.

Almost equal score to the orginal RIVA TNT 🤣 despite much more memory bandwidth. Cpu is the bottleneck. 32-bit color will really show this.

Again Nearly same score as the Original RIVA TNT running the same driver revision.
Later on I'm gonna Do these same 3 cards with a Faster CPU.

I'd like to test my P4 machine with Voodoo 2 SLI.

Where can I download this benchmark? Can I contribute with the free version?

What settings do I select, or can I just press the benchmark button?

I'd like to test my P4 machine with Voodoo 2 SLI.

Where can I download this benchmark? Can I contribute with the free version?

What settings do I select, or can I just press the benchmark button?

Yeah the free version works. You cannot change many settings in the free version
but the score is based on the first few tests only

Still for download there.
You need to force V-sync off with most cards, in their drivers or with a 3rd party utility.
Voodoo Control works for 3dfx cards.
Free version just lacks a few of the advance tests that don't contribute to score, but are useful if you can post them.

Default settings are fine but if you can do 32-bit color posts those too 😀 !

No sound isn't used except in its rolling demo, which isn't part of the score.

Might capture it and put it on YT. Haven't done any videos in ages...

Its a period correct benchmark for a voodoo II so a video would be great for it. 😎
Just remember to disable v-sync, the benchmark forces it on for some reason.

Hmm it crashes right away in that Wipeout lookalike scene. For both graphics cards, the onboard Intel Extreme and Voodoo 2. All the Voodoo 2 benchmarks test fine however. Likely a driver conflict of some sorts...

What happens is the screen freezes and the machine is locked up. Num Lock stuck, need to shut it down via power button.

Is it ok with a single voodoo2? And if not try installing Dx 8.1? and the last v2 reference drivers?
Sometimes the creative labs voodoo 2 DX6 drivers are more stable if all else fails. They work with every voodoo II.
They are hidden under 3dblaster voodoo II here

I will come back to this when I'm done with the V2 testing for my project.
