So it seems I'm not maxing out my 7900GTX SLI at 10x7 then again i tested it and at 12x10 i get identical FPS so I guess i knew 🤣

Thanks for testing that! 😀

You've gotta be close to maxing out a single card, since you gain 11 fps from enabling SLI. On my Opteron, adding a second 8800GTS didn't improve performance at all; in fact I lost 1.4 fps.

Well I can test that I think. I have a Celeron Haswell with DDR3 1333, it should be able to push the 7900GTX has fast as possible I think.

A Pentium D performing similarly to a 3GHz Core 2 Duo is simply unacceptable. Even when the Pentium D is clocked at a mind bending 5GHz. 🤣

I rebenched the E6600, this time on a P45 based motherboard. It's simply incredible how much of a difference the chipset (and faster memory) makes. According to memtest86, the P45 w/ DDR3 provides almost twice the memory bandwidth of nForce 650i w/ DDR2-667.

261.7 fps, now that's more like it!

Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3GHz/1333FSB, GTX 560 (353.06), 8GB DDR3-1333 CL7, Asus P5Q3 (P45), onboard audio, Win7 x64

Nice scores, the list should be up to date.

I addad two of agent_x007s scores with the i7 3820. The TX 780ti score, the third best score of all and the 7950 GX2 OC which is a really good score with a DX9 video card.

Standard def Steves score with the E6600 also earned an X.

Just wanted to add my score. I used the original game disk and I have Windows XP pro SP2.

System Specs:

P4 3.06 HT Northwood
GeForce FX 5800 Ultra 128 meg.
768 Meg DDR333 dual channel
ASUS P4P800 LE with 533 FSB
Sound Blaster Live 5.1 value

Results:

800 x 600 : High Quality: 55 fps
1024 X 768: High Quality: 54.5 FPS
1024 x 768: Ultra Quality: 50.7 FPS

My temperature was checked immediately after the third test and the GPU was only 50 degrees celsius. I have the stock cooler and I have read these GPUs have very high running temperatures. It doesn't seem the case here. Just thought I would add that.

Alphawings system is very similar to mine posted above, but mine is p4 and his is AMD. Just thought the differences would be interesting, and why such a difference@

My system gained 40FPS by using 1.0 vs 1.3 🤣

Here's your first Skylake result. This is from a friend's new computer, an HP Envy Phoenix with a 980Ti and DDR4 memory. Honestly, the performance is a little underwhelming. It's much slower than my overclocked Ivy Bridge-E 4930K, which scored 651.7fps under XP and 621.1 fps under Win7.

i7-6700 (3.4 with 4.0GHz Turbo), GTX 980Ti (368.22), 16GB DDR4-2133, HP Z170 motherboard, onboard audio, Win10

452.7fps at 1024x768 Ultra.

That is almost exactly the same score as I got with my overclocked E8600 @4.8 + GTX 580 and that was with only 900 MHz on the GPU! 😀

I added the i7-6700 score to the list.

Managed to squeeze a bit more from the Pentium M, also 7800gs, system far from stable though.

Just a quick question, I did the time demo and had a score of 52 frames per second and it was with 756 megs of DDR 400. I then didn't change anything ther than adding different ram to get 1 gig, but I changed all the sticks, and it happened to be DDR 333. Then I ran the test again and lost 10 frames per second. Does ram speed effect frames per second this much, even when it is 256 megs more? Thanks in advance!
