Hiya!

I am looking for a BIOS with the English fonts for this VGA:

Mine has Greek fonts that replace some of the special characters and this doesn't work well for me since if I need Greek support (almost never) I can load a TSR ...

If anyone can help please dump the roms 😎 , thanks!

Keropi,

I think you may be in luck. My card appears to be a WDC reference card because yours looks like an identical OEM as far as I can tell. The ONLY difference I see is that mine leaves off the oscillator crystal yours has. Our cards even name the BIOS sockets the same U-number.

In the ZIP I've named the binary dump files according to their corresponding socket numbers. The dumps were taken on a MiniPro reader using v6.10 of the MiniPro software. The chips on mine are 27C256 ROM's no different than yours. So you should no issue burning them.

yeah! and these are really fast cards and without the TSENG issues. But I am not sure they have a RAMDAC that supports more than 8bit color depth.

^ I have 2 different WD90C30-LR cards, under win3x none supports more than 256 colors. At first I thought maybe this was a driver issue or something but it seems now there is confirmation... tbh I didn't think to look for the ramdac datasheet 🤣 🤣 🤣
It makes me wonder what the whole point of 1MB VRAM really is

Well, my Dell 486 also has a WD90C30 onboard, and that one uses a HiColor RAMDAC (SC11483CV, datasheet: http://datasheet.datasheetarchive.com/origina … DSAP0025504.pdf
