Anyone have any experience with this beast? Is it worth getting instead of a typical V2 setup?

I have the X-24 and 200SBi also. They work exactly the same as regular V2 SLI. The only difference is only one PCI slot occupied and you need to have special passthru cable. And one more thing - rumour is drivers for Q3D may not work on Athlon CPUs... and while regular V2 drivers like FastVoodoo have no problem with this, they suffer from some kind of incopatibility with TV-OUT encoder and as a result it gets very hot (like 90°C), which is not good I think.

I suppose it's worth getting if you want to play games on TV. Obsidian card can even display signal from a primary video (post, bios, dos) via TV-OUT.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

Not worth the expense from the performance aspect but for collectors may as well get it now before the prices balloon even more into $300-500 region. Without the cable you are in for a headache as you would have to make your own.

In short just avoid buying one and get two V2 12mb instead.

Yeah the V2 SLI setup is what I'm leaning towards, only thing is it's hard also to find a seller that includes the cables.
