I've come into possession of a second 12MB Voodoo 2 card, but it is of a different make than my own. What I already own is a Creative 3D Blaster Voodoo 2 12MB. What I just obtained is, well, according to Falconfly.de a BlackMagic 3D 12MB (210-0336-00X) although the sticker reads STB Systems Ino. 210-0336-00X to be exact. The boards and RAM appear to be basically identical, however. Regardless, I hope to run these in SLI. Is this possible? What drivers should I use? Also, Is it worth replacing my Voodoo 3 with a GeForce 256+Voodoo 2 SLI?

I believe FastVoodoo2 drivers from 3dfxzone.it drivers have that capability.

That depends very much on what games you want to play.

I got two IDENTICAL STB V2-1000 12MB Voodoo2 PCI cards that absolutely refused to work together until I installed the FastVoodoo2 3.6 drivers. Now, they're 100% stable and working fine. Thanks to this forum for that.

If it doesn't work try to reverse the setup (cards switching slots).

I've had some issues with V2/V2-SLI as well. You can try FastVoodoo 4.6 or an older version as mentioned above. FV 4.6 would not be stable for me, and I have 2x STB V2-1000's.

the Voodoo 2 SLI is roughly as powerfull as a Voodoo 3 add a geforce 256 and you got a more powerfull setup then just a Voodoo 3. The voodoo 2 SLI is for glide and the Geforce 256 takes care of the rest, I use this setup myself and am very satisfied with it.

In my system, I used a RIVA TNT2 32MB AGP card for DirectX and a pair of 12MB STB Voodoo2 cards for Glide. Works great. System is limited to my 600MHz Katmai Pentium III.
