I have the Mach64 onboard my 486.
Its Ok, but more for high res Win3x then fast dos gaming, either of the S3 cards are probably a better choice

Either Trio would be fine depending on whether you have agp or not.

Mach64 is ancient.. I would steer clear.

Based on my research, I would pick up S3 Virge/DX 4mb. Though you don't have it in your list, it is easily obtainable and cheap. You don't need much power for DOS, but from compatibility prospective it seems to be one of the best, if you don't want to have occasional texture glitches etc. Voodoo will do the heavy-lifting quite nicely when required. Someone more knowledgeable might correct me.
