I've decided to have a multimedia setup in my room the other day that consists of the following:

1ASUS VK222H
2HDMI to VGA adapter
3RCA to 35mm jack cable
4Chromecast Ultra (streaming videos and stuff)
5Panasonic DVD Recorder (ATSC and HDMI) <-- for watching TV and using the C64 (PSU brick will need repairs)

The picture quality is pretty good, however, the HDMI to VGA cable doesn't have any audio jacks whatsoever, which is a setback, but I always have audio cables.
