I'm considering buying this card in PCI form:

Does this card in any way leverage the power of dual GPUs in 3D the way Rage Fury MAXX or Voodoo 5 5500 does?

It has two chips in order to support 4 displays. There's no SLI or something (the G450 has no such feature).

As the chip essentially splits the bus between the two GPUs, is there any performance penalty if you only use one of the chips for gaming? I assume it would just dedicate the available bandwidth to the one chip instead of a 50/50 split between them? I imagine there is *some* overhead by having the bridge inbetween the GPU and bus, but I would hope it isn’t too much! Anyone have any benchmarks to prove this either way?
