I have a bit newer system that I use to also play dos games that are now speed sensitive. Win98se is installed and I have disabled in msdos.sys that it doesn't boot to GUI and I get ms-dos immediately.
Problem is that the graphics card fan speed only goes down when I go to win98se GUI and if I stay in dos to play dos games, the fan is at full speed and quite noisy.
Is there anything I can do about the fan speed and noise in dos?
