ATI Radeon 9250 AGP and Voodoo 3 PCI

Would this combination work for a Retro rig?

The Radeon is working nicely in Win 98SE using D3D but I'm looking for a dedicated Glide solution.

The voodoo 3 seems to be a 2d/3d combo card so would my system accept both like if I used a voodoo2 dedicated add on card?

No. Voodoo3 isn't designed to work as a secondary add-on video adapter like Voodoo2

Well, he COULD use the Voodoo 3 and Radeon 9250 in the same system, and choose which adapter to boot with in BIOS at each reboot. This would likely require either matching hardware profiles or seperate OS installs for each case..

I've used the BIOS approach. You just switch which adapter is primary. I don't remember if Windows 98 needed anything special set up.

May also just want to try Zeckensack's Glide wrapper. Radeon 9250 should work alright with it. Look at the docs for a driver version suggestion.
