I have a Leadtek GeForce2 Pro which has solder markings for a DVI port. I'm currently unable nor do I want to do such a mod, but I've been wondering if it's as simple as 1 2 3 to just solder a DVI connector into the socket.

Has anyone here ever done this to a card before?

You have to add other unpopulated SMD elements and DVI transmitter. BIOS mod might be also required.
