Gainward Dragon 3000 Voodoo 2 Back side C105: 1205 1uF 16V (or possibly 4.7uF?) (should be equal to C141 on reference card, probably a storage cap and not a filter cap?)
Gainward Dragon 3000 Voodoo 2 Back side C82, 103, 104, 109: 0603 100nF 16V (should be equal to C50-69 on reference card..?? Maybe? I soldered these on as my best guess)
3dfx Voodoo 3 3000 C94: 0603 0.1uF 16V
3dfx Voodoo 3 3000 C100: I guess this was intentionally empty? (I accidentally a 0603 0.1uF 16V here, is this bad?)

Are these correct? I wanted to ask Vogons before trying these cards in a motherboard..

Just repeating this kind request in case someone who could assist missed it the first time.. Otherwise I will just go with what I can best judge is likely to be a replacement and try the cards in a system with fingers crossed 😢

Thanks for the sympathies.. still hope someone who knows what they are doing better than me will respond.

I had the rear shot of the board linked above among others. That one has 0805 caps, mine and some others on the web have 1206; hence me thinking the storage cap is possibly 1uF, a common capacitance for either size..

Bumping this thread one last time before I let it die.. I've found a lot of reference to a lot of capacitor values, but most of them are for the smaller 100nF and 10nF capacitors which I've already sorted out. The larger ones, I can't reference.. There are claims of missing 4,7uF, 1uF or 220nF capacitors from various Voodoo cards, Voodoo 2 up to Voodoo 5, but different boards have different capacitors all over. This missing cap is located behind the PixelFX chip and I think it's a storage cap on the input voltage, so I am about to go safe and slap on a 4.7 uF here.. Let's hope someone in the know will drop by and give an opinion 🙁

Don't know if it matters, but regarding the voodoo 3 - do you mean pci or agp? I may be able to look at mine and help you out.

EDIT: Just read your other thread. Let us know how it goes.

I am afraid noone can can easily tell what value those capacitors are. Because as far as I know the only way would be to desolder them, then measure and then solder back.
