The delphine adventures like Operation Stealth did support EGA graphics. However from the looks of the mobygames screenshots it doesn’t use the CGA 16 color palette, but the full EGA 64 colors. Also it looks as if it uses dithering, which suggests a high res 350 lines mode. Can anyone confirm this?

Wrong resolution for hi-res EGA, and the RGB values are comfortably outside of the 64-color EGA range.

Without actually testing the game, I'd wager that there were both 256-color and 16-color VGA versions, and somebody had the mistaken assumption that "16 colors = EGA". The dithering is probably due to a .GIF upscaling fail.

Is it possibly 640x200 with 16 colour dithering like what Sierra did with some of their games? That mode gave very convincing almost VGA quality results.
