Back in like ~2016 i was playing around with this board and noticed that it has problems with PCI S3 video cards (tried it on both the Virge classic and Virge/DX), under DOS and Windows 3.11 it works fine, however when using a more advanced operating system like Win95 it conflicts with the IDE controller. It doesn't say anything about a conflict in the Device Manager, but the system freezes after few minutes and immediately when accesing the IDE controller device in Device Manager. I have read old Usenet posts from 1998 talking about the same issue. The board revision is 1.02. Are there any BIOS settings to overcome that or the only option is to use an AGP card (and will the AGP S3 Trio3D/2x also cause problems? 🤣 )?
