So I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4340, that I kept because:
a) It has real FDC, serial and parallel ports.
b) The sound card (YMF-744) works fine in DOS, so it's a fully compatible DOS system.

Currently, it is a multiboot system with DOS 6.22, Windows 98SE and Puppy Linux 5.28. Lately, I've been trying to install a DVD reader with no success (faulty drive) and I found that I forgot to install Windows 3.x.

My system has an integrated S3 Savage IX with 8 mb, but I've found no drivers for Windows 3.x. I've found drivers for (almost) every pre-savage S3 card, and a driver for S3 Savage 4.

Does anybody know which if there is a Windows 3.x driver compatible with this card? Can I make another driver to work with it (I mean, not the generic SVGA or VESA drivers). The goal is having a fully working Windows 3.11 (for workgroups) environment working.

(I guess my Yamaha YMF-744 will work with Sound Blaster Pro drivers and I've got a PCMCIA Realtek 8139 ethernet card that has DOS drivers. Also, I'm going to use a Raspberry Pi to act as a "print to PDF" server.)

I have traveled across the universe and through the years to find Her.
