Most likely the RAM is on it's way out.
Solder/have someone solder new chips on or buy a new V3.

H2692-HE is a model number and 9943s is most likely just a date code (of manufacture, 43rd week of '99)

I could buy a broken voodoo 3 3000 and try to replace the chips,there's no way i could buy a new one now,i have some taxes to pay.
Can i replace the dead chip by any RAM chip of 2Mb 166mhz with no problem or i should get the same chip from the card?

You can probably find just RAM chips but you are only showing the last part of the model number.

Thanks again, the graphics core runs at 166mhz, the SDRAM will be limited to 166mhz too?
I could overclock it to 183mhz, but I have the fear of burning the card or something.

It's not a problem.
M12L16161A-5TG will clock down to any slower speed common on Voodoo cards.
From page 7 in the PDF I provided.

It has the added advantage that if you ever want to overclock a voodoo card the RAM speed won't be a problem.
