In regards to my previous post asking about other graphics card:

GeForce 6200 PCI for Win9X / ME gaming? (DOS / Win9X / ME Games)

is Savage IX: Any good for DOS / Win9X gaming?

The card in my possession has TV out function as well.

It can play 90's games. Like so many so much faster cards.

It can, but late Savage cards have certain problems with DOS games.

Yes, at higher resolutions it is slower than Savage3D in some games

I just found a screenshot from Quake3 driver info, Savage IX support "GL_S3_s3tc" extension. So it support S3TC in OpenGL?

Hm, I tried Q2 and Unreal demo maps and they work OK. Good for Savage to have some consistency.
