Awesome!!!. I guess the ramdac and the memory bus are the same between the GD5422 and the GD5428, which sort of makes sense because the board is labeled GD542x.

Looking at the features that were added between those models, the card is not VLB, and the bios doesn't care about any of the bit/blt functionality that came in at the GD5426 or GD5428, so maybe you are good.

It would be really interesting to see if the GD5428 bios confuses Windows or not. This is all pre-plug & play, so maybe Windows just won't care.

It make no difference, because VGA-Register (include extended ) of Cirrus Logic GD542x Familiy is same.
