Hi,
I have a technical questions about GF FX 5700 (Nv36).

1. Is GF FX 5700 have 2x64 or 4x32 bit memory configuration? For GF 6600 is know that is 2x64 bit, but about 5700 there is no informations.

2. I read CineFX 1.0 in GF 5800, 5600 and 5200 series still has discrete hardware TCL (T&L). But what about CineFX 2.0? Is still special HW T&L or T&L is emulate by Vertex Shaders?

3. CineFX 1.0 has special, dedicated fixed point pipe for older DX 8.0 and earlier games. What about CineFX 2.0? Is true 2.0 version has only floating point units and fixed point operations are simply emulated by these units? It is very interesting.

Thanks

4x32.

Unlikely.

Would be pointless waste of transistor budget. Vertex Shader unit is already a programmable T&L engine and FX 5700 had 3 VS. GeForce 3 allegedly had dedicated T&L engine along with one VS, but that's very roundabout way to say that VS just had support both for fixed and floating point operations.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.
