A Voodoo 3 AGP card would be a nice fit, performance-, time and feature wise. With little luck you get one under 100$.

For nVidia cards, newer than GF2 you should consider the CPU overhead from your driver. So newer cards can have weaker performance than older cards in your System.

A GF2 MX is nearly the same like a GF1 SDR.
