I have a "mobility" chip on a discrete GPU too. Haven't done much testing with it though.

Edit: I downloaded and again (as I tried many installers) INF error, couldn't find display driver. Not sure if that's correct error as I translated from Polish.

I am using this one on an IBM T42 laptop without problems. Don't know if the inf file likes your card though.

Have you looked up the Vendor and Device ID of your card?

I for example have a Laptop with a Geforce 4 420 GO and it wanted very specific toshiba drivers before it worked.

I have no idea how these numbers will help me since even Snappy Driver Installer failed...

This driver pack has the right IDs in its files. At least in theory it should work.

I found here https://www.driverscape.com/download/mobility-radeon-7500c and Ati Control Panel installed and reboot didn't kill showing screen but flickering from time to time black screen persists. So seems it's Ati Mobility Radeon 7500C not 7500.

That’s definitely a mobile chip. (Not what I have been using on my socket 7 builds)

It is interesting that they used board ram instead of the bga on the package. Maybe the package only supports 64 bit and the board supports 128 bit but looks lke you only have 64 bit anyway

Low score for a 7500. That memory is GDDR 200/400, so I would expect 4000 3Dmarks in '01.

The driver I use for Mobility 7500 is called SP30767 (do a search and you should see links for Compaq Evo, etc.) but I know it doesn't have your exact device ID with subsystem 10021002 so you'd have to edit the INF file if you want to try it.

When I don't move cursor it doesn't happen, it happens, for example, in control panel just using cursor between sub menus not even clicking.

Try a different driver or a older sp version of windows.

If I'd only know what driver, I spent 4 hours to make it work and these moments of black screens. If I won't fix it I'd rather get rid of this card.

Might be worth sending it back and getting a real 7500. I can PM you next time I see one on ebay. (Like the ones I use.)
