Hey guys,

So I was given this ATI 9800 PRO to test for someone, but I noticed upon inspection that a very tiny chip with a heatsink attached was falling off. Does anyone know what this chip is for? Is it a power regulator? Is there a resource I can use to find out which chip I need to replace it? I have a stock image indicating location of chip. I can't read the chip because its glued to the heatsink.

I was able to separate the chip from the heatsink. Looks like the chip is a fds 6912 mosfet.

Card repaired. Now to just buy a new fan to replace the noisy one.
