Hoping someone here can lead me on the right direction to try and fix this monitor. I can't really explain it, but when a title bar or dialog box is showing on the screen the sides of the monitor distort, or bend in or out. It is distracting cause every time a window opens or closes the whole screen distorts or bounces for a moment. Really distracting and the pictures don't really capture the severity of the issue. When you close the window it goes back to a normal geometry.
I went through all PCB boards (main and neck) and recapped the entire monitor with new Nichicon/Panasonic low ESR caps (originals were mainly Teapo brand). This didn't change a thing unfortunately. Other than this issue the monitor seems completely great. Nice sharp ,bright, colorful, no flyback HV pops, everything is good except this image bending issue. Any ideas? I have looked for a service manual but can't find a complete PDF file to download, so at this point I don't know any particular voltages, but could this be an issue with the HV voltage, or is it a CRT tube issue?
Thanks..
p.s... Forgot to mention this happens in all resolutions, so Windows as well as in DOS Edit for example.
