Hello!

I have a Sony Trinitron Multiscan E230 that seems to be on it's last legs. Every few minutes, the screen will briefly flicker - almost looks like it lost focus or just about to switch off, but it lasts for just a moment, then quickly goes back to normal. Would anyone have any recommendations as to which capacitors might need replacing? Any other tips or tricks? It would be my first CRT repair job, but I'm pretty good at soldering so I am not too worried about that - I'm more just curious if anyone has worked on this or a similar monitor, and remembers which capacitors needed to be changed, and on which board etc.

Also, while I am in there, are there any other things I can do to rejuvenate the picture tube? The image seems a bit dim and I have set the contrast all the way up to max.

Really appreciate any advice you might have!

Thanks!
