I'm trying to get another XP machine up and running, while installing the drivers it gets stuck on "Detecting graphics hardware". Tried a few different versions of the driver but it's always stuck on that. I can go and manually install the driver through Device Manager and it works but CCC never gets installed. This is on a fresh install of XP SP3 with only my chipset driver installed. Hoping someone will have a solution to this issue. Does it need some sort of dependency installed for it to work? Like Net Framework or something like that? Thanks

Just getting some free time to do some testing

It's likely .NET

Installed .NET, no change. Even tried a different AMD GPU , a Radeon R7 265. Same issue

Try doing manual install (picking .inf from unpacked driver folder).

What .inf file am I looking for? Would you know in what sub folder it would be in?

Do you have a different source on that driver download? The one you linked doesnt seem to work. Really would like to get a proper install of CCC working with my R7 265.

If auto installer doesn't work, make sure all files are present.
You can launch CCC install after regular driver install, BUT setup.exe must be present in "CCC" folder.

Not trying to be a pain but how can I assure all the files are there?

You check folder named "CCC" in "App" folder, exact location : where-ever AMD/ATI driver unpacks to.
If there is no "setup.exe" in there, CCC files are missing (and neither you nor driver installer will be able to install it).

Unpacking drviver installer (.exe), can also be done via 7-zip or WinRAR too.
