Hey all,

I own a few different GeForce cards, 2 of which are already in use, and 1 that will soon be in use in a new retro build. I am trying to determine the best cooling solution for each based on the cards' thermal needs.

Currently, my GeForce 4 Ti4200 has a Zalman VF700-Cu heatsink+fan and my GeForce 4 Ti4600 has a Zalman FS-V7 on it. My GeForce 3 Ti500 has a stock fan on it that is failing and needs to be replaced. I also have a NOS Zalman ZM80A-HP passive heatsink cooler.

Would it be appropriate to use the ZM80A-HP on the GeForce 3 Ti500 or should I install it on one of the GeForce 4 cards and move one of active fan+heatsinks onto the GeForce 3?

Thanks!

I've had good results with Deepcool VGA coolers on my GeForce4 Ti4200 cards. I believe I used the V65 on those, and it was very quiet while still offering plenty of cooling.

I think the V50 model might fit your GeForce3, but you better check the mounting hole spacing to be sure.
