*Driver version v4.03.00.2111-3.12.01 was needed. The “SuperUNI” driver isn’t the best choice for 325.

No problems so far with playing DOS based ViRGE games on my Diamond Stealth 2000 (ViRGE 325), Terminal Velocity and Descent 2 run well, even GLQuake. If I try Croc, selecting Virge, starting the game results in a blank screen. Trying Mechwarrior 2(virge specific version) when I try to launch a mission it immediately pops the “mission failed” dialogue. I’m using Windows 98 if it makes a difference. I’ve tried using a a couple different windows drivers including the SuperUNI version.

Update: trying Pod Gold, specifically the WPods3d.exe and when launched it complains that s3dtkw.DLL can’t be found. If I copy that file, from SuperUNI folder, to my Windows\System folder it gets a bit further and complains about “Error In Communication” with “S3MINI_TEST” in the window header/title bar.
